Osprey CPA Bryan Lichau

Bryan Lichau, CPA, MBA

President

I grew up in Northern California in the Foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. I graduated from the University of California at Davis in 1997, and earned my MBA in Accounting in 2000.

After earning my CPA certificate in 2002, I continued my path in public accounting. I took a position as the CFO of a Jamba Juice franchise in 2004, which owned and operated 20 stores in Northern California and Nevada.

Upon moving to Western Washington in 2007, I went to work for CBRE (commercial real estate giant), helping our clients with their real estate accounting needs.

After nearly ten years of learning various roles within CBRE, including IT and project management, I started Osprey Accounting Services, as I wanted to get back into public accounting, helping individuals and small businesses.

My family and I moved to Gig Harbor in 2007, and immediately fell in love with the community, as well as the state of Washington. I do my best to remain active outside of the office by staying outdoors, golfing, and playing a bit of basketball.

Building strong relationships with my clients is extremely important to me. A high level of trust is crucial in the CPA-client relationship, as we are dealing with a very intimate part of our clients’ lives. That trust is something that we strive to achieve, and take very seriously.

Osprey CPA Russell Wolf

Russell R. Wolf, CPA

I have lived in the Seattle area all my life. I attended Ingraham High School in North Seattle and graduated from the University of Washington in 1976, with a double major in accounting and finance.

I received my CPA certificate in 1977. Out of college I worked at a mid-size CPA firm indowntown Seattle, then worked as CFO at a Savings & Loan in Kent, then as a Vice President for a billion dollar thrift in Tacoma. I bought a small CPA practice in 1990 and have practiced in Federal Way since then.

During that time I have also been very active in my community, serving on the Board of Directors for 8 years in the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce, and as Chairman of the Board in 2001-2002. I am also an active member in my community church.

In addition to 39 years of work experience, I have received over 1,500 hours of continuing education in my career – which I consider essential to staying current with tax law.

I know how to guide businesses and people through the complexities of the tax law, and am not afraid to take aggressive tax positions, yet I also endeavor to keep clients out of trouble with tax agencies. I am casual, yet committed to provide top quality professional services to my clients by providing practical advice about how to minimize tax burdens.

I also do my best to educate my clients about what they need to understand about their taxes. I go out of my way to provide a personalized service to every client, and take the time to make sure they are satisfied with the service they receive from my firm. So much so that many clients who move out of the Seattle-Tacoma area often continue to use Wolf CPA Services to prepare their tax returns.
